Refund Policy
Effective September 15, 2026 · TheNetTicket is operated by TheNetVR.
Refunds are decided by the venue you bought from, and when they are given, you get the full ticket price back the way you paid. Here is how to ask, what to expect, and what happens if an event is cancelled.
1. Who decides
You bought your ticket from the Venue, and the Venue decides whether to refund it. Many timed-entry attractions treat tickets as final once the entry time is booked, because that place cannot be resold at short notice; others are flexible. The Venue's own rules, stated on its event page or at its door, apply. TheNetTicket provides the means to refund; it does not overrule the Venue, except as described in section 6.
2. How to ask
Reply to the email that carried your tickets, or contact the Venue however it prefers. Include the email address you bought with and the event. The Venue can find your order and refund it in a click. If you cannot reach the Venue, email mike@thenetvr.com and we will pass the request on.
3. What you get back
- A refund is for the full price of the ticket as shown at checkout. Any fee the Venue pays us is the Venue's cost, not yours, and never reduces your refund.
- Paid by card online: the refund goes back to the same card through Stripe. Banks usually show it within 5–10 business days; we cannot speed that up.
- Paid at the door: the Venue took your money in person and returns it in person. Nothing happens to a card.
- A refund can cover some tickets on an order and leave the rest valid.
4. What happens to the ticket
The moment a ticket is refunded, its QR code stops working at the gate and the place goes back on sale. You will receive an email confirming which tickets were refunded and what to expect. If you still hold other tickets on the same order, the email says so and they remain valid.
5. Tickets that have been used
A ticket that has already been scanned at the gate is normally not refundable, because the entry it promised has been delivered. A Venue may still choose to refund it, for instance if the experience was cut short, and the system allows that.
6. Cancelled, rescheduled or changed events
If the Venue cancels an event or your entry time, or changes it substantially, the Venue must refund you in full or offer an alternative, such as a different entry time, which you may decline in favour of a refund. If a Venue fails to do so, we may issue the refund on its behalf.
7. Card disputes
Please ask the Venue, or us, before disputing a charge with your bank. A dispute takes weeks to resolve and freezes the money for everyone; a refund through the Venue takes minutes to start. A ticket whose charge is disputed is cancelled while the dispute is open.
